2006 Ibanez SAS36FM HSS S-Series Superstrat (Transparent Gray)

Traded in at our Gladesville store, an earlier Korean made Ibanez SAS36FM before they moved production to Indonesia. Weighs just 2.7kg’s and is in great used condition with only light wear and tear from general use.

Sixteen years ago everyone “knew” that fat mahogany tone and sustain equaled weight and discomfort. Then the Ibanez S Series changed everything. The SAS36FM is thin around the edge to give you great comfort, and thick around the neck, pickups and bridge to give you great tone.

The SAS36FM is for players who want S sleekness, but with a standard flat back. The 25.5″ neck scale offers narrow feel and tight tension similar to an RG. The rosewood finger board offers a strong, bright sound and an attractive appearance with a long grain. Unlike other brands in this price range, SA models receive the same individual inspection and set-up as Ibanez’s most expensive models.
