2004 Fernandes Robert Fripp Signature Model Goldtop Les Paul w/Kahler & Sustainer

Incredibly rare and impossible to find, this is one of the official Robert Fripp model Les Paul’s made by Fernandes in 2004. We’ve only ever seen one other up for sale and it was a black version rather than the iconic goldtop version that Fripp is famous for. Solid body with a carved maple top and a slim 60’s style mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4.2kg’s. Factory loaded with a Kahler style tremolo system, Roland GK pickup and a Fernandes Sustainer system, this is essentially an exact replica of Fripps guitar that he replaced his Gibson Les Paul’s with in the early 2000’s.

Good used condition as pictured with basic wear from general use, it’s overall a clean example and received a full setup and service prior to listing. The neck is straight and the truss works well, the frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left.
