1999 Gibson USA Thunderbird IV Bass (Ebony Stain)

Made in the USA in 1999, the Thunderbird is one of Gibson’s most popular designs. Wearing a very rare “Ebony Stain” finish that gives a classy dark look while still showing some of the grain on a mahogany body with a neckthrough mahogany/walnut construction and an ebony fingerboard, it weighs 3.9kg’s. Looks to be all original with Gibson branded tuners and pickups along with a black three-point bridge system.

Good overall used condition with limited checking to the finish and no breaks or repairs. Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing. The neck is straight, the frets are shiny and the truss works as it should.
