1996 Orville (Gibson) Japan SG-65 ’62 Reissue SG Double Cutaway (Heritage Cherry)

Japanese made in 1996, the Orville SG-65 was a Japanese built ’60’s reissue SG made under the instruction of Gibson. Orville models are critically acclaimed as they offer authorized Gibson style and specs coupled with the famous Japanese craftsmanship.

Slim mahogany body with a slim 60’s mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.2kg’s. Loaded with the original Japanese humbuckers, aftermarket Gotoh tuners and the original Japanese bridge/tailpiece.

Good used condition with some basic wear and tear from general use but no breaks or repairs, it was restrung and given a service prior to listing. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts as it should, the frets have some light wear but are shiny and smooth.
