1996 Gibson USA SG Standard Double Cutaway (Black)

Made in the USA in 1996, this is an almost 30 year old Gibson SG Standard that has been well loved and played throughout its life. This one has 490/498 humbuckers and Gibson stamped machine heads and overall appears factory original. Medium rounded neck profile that is somewhere between a slim 60’s and a baseball bat, fits in the hand comfortably and is very playable.

Good used condition as pictured with light signs of playwear and general use, restrung and recently serviced. There’s some cosmetic nitro burn across the body where the paint has faded. Plenty of life in the frets with a straight neck and fully functional truss, no breaks or repairs to the headstock or neck joint. Weighs 3.1kg’s.
