1993 Fender Japan ST57-70 ’57 Reissue Stratocaster w/USA Pickups (Brown Sunburst)

Made by the Fujigen factory in 1993, the ST57-70 was a mid-range ’57 reissue model from Fender Japan. Alder body with a two-tone sunburst finish, maple “oval type” neck with a 7.25″ radius, it’s factory loaded with Fender USA ST-VINTAGE single coils and weighs 3.4kg’s.
Looks to have a replacement pickguard as well as a new truss rod nut and a round string tree swapped in for the original winged one. There’s an upgraded PIO tone capacitor under the hood too for a more vintage voiced tone.
Good used condition for a 30 year old guitar with a few basic dings/bumps as pictured. Given a full setup and service prior to listing including a fret polish and truss adjustment, plenty of life in the vintage frets with some light playwear, features and a nice straight neck with good action.
