1988 Fender Japan ST-40 Stratocaster Standard (Black)

Made by the Fujigen factory in the late 1980’s, the ST-40 was the “Standard” model Stratocaster that was the Japanese take on the American Standard. Solid basswood body with a maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.6kg’s. Loaded with Fender Japan single coils and Gotoh tuners, it appears all original.

Good vintage condition as pictured with some wear and tear but no breaks or repairs. The neck is straight and the frets are shiny and smooth, the truss works well and it plays nicely as it sits.
