1987 Burny (by Fernandes Japan) TB-70 Thunderbird Bass (Fire Red)

Made in Japan in the late 1980’s, the TB-70 was Burny’s take on modernising the classic Gibson Thunderbird design. Slim solid alder body bolted to a maple neck with a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard (34″ scale length, 39mm nut width), it weighs 4.5kg’s. Loaded with a pair of active FGI humbuckers, it appears to be all original.

Good overall condition as pictured with a few bumps and bruises but no breaks or repairs. Received a full setup and service prior to listing, plays well with a straight neck and fully functional truss rod, the frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left.
