1986 Fender Japan ST314-55 Boxer Series Medium Scale Stratocaster (Vintage White)

Made in Japan as part of the Fender Boxer Series of the mid 1980’s, the ST314 Stratocaster was a medium scale offering for a tighter feel than a traditional Fender. With a 628mm scale length and medium-jumbo frets, it was designed to bridge the gap between Stratocaster and Les Paul to give Gibson tones and feel from a Fender body.
Basswood body with a Vintage White finish bolted to a maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (12″ radius), it weighs 3.4kg’s. Loaded with Fender Japan ST-CURRENT pickups controlled by a master volume and two tone controls along with a 5-way selector.

Good overall used condition as pictured with basic wear and tear from general use but no breaks or repairs. The neck is straight and the truss works as it should, the frets are shiny with plenty of life left. Previously routed for HSH pickups but it’s back to the original loadout now.
