1985 Tokai Japan TST-36 Limited Edition Contemporary HH Stratocaster (Candy Apple Red)

Made in Japan by Tokai in the mid 1980’s, the TST-36 was an attempt to compete with Fender Japan’s “Contemporary” series of modern instruments equipped to handle the heavier genres. Alder body bolted to a painted maple neck with a 21 fret rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length), it weighs 3.3kg’s. Loaded with HH pickups controlled by a volume and two tone controls and a three-way blade switch, it appears to be all original.

Good vintage condition as pictured with basic signs of wear from general use, restrung and given a basic service prior to listing. The frets are shiny with some wear but plenty of life left, the neck is straight and the truss works as it should.
