1984 Tokai TJB-50 ’64 Reissue Jazz Bass (Metallic Red w/Matching Headstock)

Made by the Tokai factory in Japan in 1984, the

TJB-50 was designed to replicate the “1964 Rare Model” Fender Jazz Bass with a metallic red finish and matching headstock. Alder body bolted to a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4.1kg’s. Loaded with the original JB pickups along with full sized Japanese pots and wiring, it has once replacement tuner key and an aftermarket pickguard.

Good vintage condition as pictured with general wear from years of loving use. Restrung and given a basic setup and service prior to listing, the truss works as it should and the neck is straight. The frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left.
