1984 Burny Japan LC-70JS John Sykes Signature Model Les Paul Custom (Ebony)

Made in Japan in late 1984 for release in the 1985 catalog, the LC-70JS Burny’s John Sykes model Les Paul Custom in their “Musicians Version” series. Solid mahogany construction with a slim 60’s profile neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.8kg’s. Loaded with the original VH-3 humbuckers and full sized pots, it appears all original except for two new CTS volume pots, upgraded Gotoh locking tuners and a non-mirrored pickguard.

Good vintage condition as pictured with some basic wear and tear for its age. The previous owner sanded and buffed the neck back to a satin smooth feel. The frets are shiny and smooth with some playwear but life left and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss rod.
