1983 Tokai Japan A-80D Talbo Blazing Fire Cast Aluminium Electric Guitar (Pearl White)

Tokai Talbo (Tokai Aluminium Body) guitars were introduced in 1980 and feature a solid aluminium body with a chamber underneath the pickguard. These were known for having a crystal clear clean tone that resonates beautifully both acoustically and plugged-in.
The A-80D is one of the earliest Talbo models and features a pearl white finish, maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length), two Talbo Original passive humbuckers and a hardtail bridge. Weighs 3.8kg’s.
If you’re Australian and a certain age, you’ll likely recognise these from their use with INXS. Nile Rodgers is rumored to have put Tim Farriss onto Tokais Talbo Blazing Fire. Tim went on to use the Talbo for decades.
Well loved used condition as pictured with plenty of wear but no structural breaks or repairs. Frets have some use but were polished prior to listing along with a fretboard oil. The truss works well and the neck is straight, it appears all original.
