1982 Yamaha Japan SG-800S Double Cutaway (Cherry Sunburst)

Considered by many as an upgrade to the standard Les Paul design, the Yamaha SG series are some of the fullest sounding guitars you’ll ever play. This SG-800S was a special release only made in 1982. Weighs 3.9kg’s and is built with a mahogany body with a maple cap, slim 60’s mahogany neck and a rosewood fretboard (628mm scale length, 43mm nut width). Loaded with the original Yamaha branded tuners and tune-o-matic bridge, this one has the original humbucking pickups with the push/push coil split switches on the tone knobs.

Good vintage condition as pictured with plenty of signs of cosmetic wear from use. Received a basic setup and service including fretboard oil, fret polish and electronics service.
