1982 Tokai TJB-45 ’64 Reissue Jazz Bass (Black)

Made by the Tokai factory in Japan in 1982, the

TJB-45 was designed to replicate the 1964 Fender Jazz Bass. Glossy black finish on an alder body bolted to a maple neck (with a slight v profile and 39mm nut with) coupled to a rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4.2kg’s. Loaded with the original JB pickups along with full sized Japanese pots and wiring, it appears to have all the original hardware that’s working well.

Good vintage condition as pictured with general wear from years of loving use. Restrung and given a professional setup and service prior to listing, the truss works as it should and the neck is straight. The frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left.
