Seemingly a one-off pickup made by Maxon in 1982, this hex-pole humbucker features both the iconic “Z” ink on the back along with a “PU-2” stamp on the back along with a 1982 date code. This was likely wound for a very specific one-off build or could be factory sample pickup for testing, it’s guaranteed to not have been rewound or modified and is 100% genuine and all original. Measures a hot 14.53k on a multimeter and has around 15cm of lead left.
