1979 Fernandes Japan FST-50 Vintage Stratocaster (Black)

Japanese made in 1979, the FST-50 was the base model from Fernandes. Glossy black finish on an alder body with a medium profile one-piece maple neck, it weighs 3.5kg’s. This one appears to have the original alnico pickups in there with an aftermarket pickguard, high quality pots and tone cap (labelled Fender Custom Shop in Sharpie so take that how you will).

Very clean vintage condition as pictured with a glossy neck and body and only some minor cosmetic dings. Neck is nice and straight and the truss is adjustable, frets are reasonably low (common on these old Fernandes models) but play smooth and are shiny.
