1978 Greco Japan EG-450 Les Paul Standard (Brown Sunburst Relic)

Made in Japan by the Fujigen factory in 1978, this Greco EG-450 features a sycamore top with a chambered mahogany body and three-piece maple neck, weighs just under 3.5kg’s. Loaded with a Dimarzio PAF 36th Anniversary in the bridge and a rewound Maxon neck pickup along with 5 Gibson tuners (and one Kluson) and the original Japanese pots/bridge/tailpiece.The previous owner stripped the finish and re-lacquered the entire neck and body as pictured, it’s a fairly amateur job but adds to the relic’d vibe. Looks to have had a small neck heel repair at some stage too but it’s rock solid with no movement or structural damage. The neck is straight and the frets are shiny with plenty of life left, the truss works as it should.
