1977 Navigator (by ESP Japan) Esparto SP-01 Stratocaster (Sunburst)

Made in small batches within the ESP Tokyo workshop, Esparto guitars were primarily made to replicate Fender style instruments. Looks to be a one-piece ash body with a one piece rock maple neck (medium frets, 42mm nut width, slim C profile), it weighs 3.4kg’s. The original pickups sound great and are controlled by a three-way selector for a 50’s vibe.

Given a basic setup and service prior to listing. The frets show some signs of wear with mild pitting but are shiny and play well, the neck is straight with an adjustable truss. The previous owner upgraded the saddles on the original bridge
