1976 Greco Japan SE-500B Super Sounds Stratocaster (Black)

Made by the Fujigen factory in 1976, this SE-500B is one of those classic old Greco Stratocasters that is a joy to own. Nice heavy body with a slim C maple neck and 21 fret fingerboard, it weighs 4.3kg’s. Loaded with the original Maxon Excel single coils controlled by a three-way toggle, it’s got a new output jack otherwise it appears original.

Received a teardown and deep clean prior to listing with all the hardware polished and cleaned. Restrung and given a basic setup, frets are vintage and have life left, light pitting and play wear with an adjustable truss and straight neck. There is some peeling in the clear coat on the neck/headstock but no structural breaks or repairs.
