Sale! Made by Japan’s famous Matsumoku factory in mid 1975, this is a Westminster branded Jazz Bass that aimed at replicating Fender’s 70’s JB aesthetic with a bound fingerboard and block inlays. Mahogany body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, this one was professionally converted into a fretless model by our tech Vaughan by removing the original frets and re-lining them to match the binding and the inlays perfectly. Weighs 4.1kg’s and has a 41mm nut width.
Very reasonable condition as pictured for it’s age with light cosmetic wear and tear. Currently plays well with a functional truss and straight neck, strung with flatwounds for the traditional fretless experience.
