1960’s Teisco Japan BS-101 Short Scale Bass w/Goldfoil (Sunburst)

Made in Japan by Teisco in the mid 1960’s, the BS-101 was a guitar-sized bass guitar designed for smaller hands and have since become cult classics. With the same body as many Teisco guitar models along with a 24.75″ scale length neck and an upgraded Victory goldfoil pickup, CTS pots, a Switchcraft jack and Gotoh tuners, it weighs 2.7kg’s.Serviced and playing smoothly with a nice low action and straight neck, it’s wearing flatwound strings and is in good overall vintage condition for it’s age.
